Coral reefs – key parts of the world's ecosystems – have been dying at alarming rates. Banning or restricting the use of certain types of fishing gear like spear guns, fish traps, and beach seine nets will help the world’s coral reefs and their fish populations survive, according to a joint study by international science and conservation groups.
